Be careful for nothing; but in everything y prayer and supplication and thanksgiving let your requests be made unto God and the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Thank you for giving to the Lord I have a life that was changed

Text Box: We will probably never know what
happened on December 12, 2006, the
day Shane took his own life. He was
only 16 years old, and well on his way
to becoming the person he always
wanted to be.

What we do know is that future
tragedies can be prevented. They must
be prevented. Shaneskindness.com is
dedicated to doing just that.

To those of you reading this who are
struggling with depression or sadness,
loneliness or despair, remember this:
You are a necessary, integral and
unique member of your family and
your world. You are loved.
And you have so much to live for.

— Donna Halligan, March 2007

Flowers are the spirits of loved ones

whose footsteps have passed from the earth,

but reappear each year

to gladden the pathways of those now living.

A Letter from Chris’s Mom & Dad

Its hard to believe we won't see your happy face or hear your jolly laugh anymore. You were one of the most happy-go-lucky person, you always had everyone in stitches. Everyone we see or talk to says the same thing. They never met anyone more happier then you. You were truly a gentle giant the way you handled babies and little kids. They all enjoyed you gently playing with them. They all looked up to you.

We'll miss your enthusiasm at parties and holidays. When you got going on a story, you kept everyone laughing. We'll never look at a Bud Truck the same. That was a job made for you. You were a "people person" and every stop that you made, you made a friend. It's amazing to us how many people you knew and the great things that they said about you.

We'll never understand your pain, but we know you're at peace now. We have a hole in our hearts, but the memories will never go away. You are now forever young! We will always miss you and love you.   You're in our hearts forever. Love MOM & DAD.
