Divorce & Separation Support Groups

* At the current time Sunshine does not offer this program, however we can refer you to a local agency, church or school who does.

This topic is addressed in most of our current programs, providing support, guidance and understanding to children and families.

• This program utilizes the "Rainbows" program, which is a nationally recognized support group for families experiencing a divorce or separation in their homes.  Program is available for children (age 4 - 12) and their parent.  Weekly topics include:

• Self-esteem and Feelings
• Dealing with anger and other stages of the grieving process
• Strengthening families
• Understanding
• Acceptance
• and much more...

Names are taken throughout the year of interested families.  If Sunshine has enough families to run the group, we will offer the program.  If we do not have enough families, we will refer you to another program at Sunshine that can provide support or we will guide you to another agency that offers this specific service.
